Mizio is a Linux software tool that features a user-friendly interface for scanning proxies. It assesses anonymity and speed to ensure optimal performance.
The upcoming versions of Mizio will cover additional functionalities like support for connect and socks. Proxy is software installed on a computer that caches frequently visited websites to speed up browsing. If configured not to send the user's IP address, proxies can also offer anonymous browsing.
Mizio scans and locates such proxies by querying Google and opening a local port to receive HTTP headers to test anonymity. Once the tool completes its process, users can set their browser to surf the internet anonymously. Mizio removes any not working proxies and displays the status bar with the number of anonymous proxies available.
In the recent Mizio release, the tool has improved its checking process, closes the port used to accept connections, and highlights the number of anonymous proxies available on the status bar, offering a more user-friendly browsing experience.
