Monitoringz is a server-client software tool used by multiple users to collect, store, and analyze microbial cleanliness and air particles in clean production environments, especially in the pharmaceutical sector.
The application comprises of two components - a back-end database in PostgreSQL server and a client front-end interface in Microsoft Access. Monitoringz offers a range of features, including easy and logical input of organization structure and sampling matrix, swift and straightforward input of sampling data through forms that resemble classic paper forms, and creation of different pre-defined classic reports that include statistical and graphical trending of results by sampling locations. The printer-friendly reports can be either printed, saved and archived for later viewing or e-mailed to interested staff.
Furthermore, the software application also offers powerful searching and filtering of sampling data in datasheet reports, an interactive data survey form with condensed data from all types of reports, and pivot tables and pivot charts for advanced data analysis and ad-hoc reporting. The pivot tables and pivot charts are highly flexible and provide advanced filtering, summarization, and cross-tabulation of hierarchical data. Additionally, users can export various reports to different external formats like .txt, .xls, .rtf, .csv, .pdf, .xml, .html, .snp, etc.
In line with 21 CFR Part11, the software features robust data access control through user roles and passwords of differing authorization levels. Monitoringz also controls data authenticity through the generation of an automatically updated "audit-trail" record that records any data insert, update, or delete operation including the information of who performed the particular transaction.
Finally, for better control of sampling dynamics, Monitoringz automatically updates the sampling time schedule. Overall, Monitoringz is an excellent software application well-suited for organizations seeking a robust system for environmental monitoring in pharmaceutical and food industry.
