MOSIXVIEW is a graphical user interface designed to manage an openMosix-Cluster efficiently and easily.
The MOSIXVIEW interface includes slide-buttons that allow you to adjust the "speed" of each node present. It's important to note that this doesn't imply that you can boost the physical speed of a computer. Instead, you can influence openMosix's perception of the node's speed. From experience, migrating processes tend to be much smoother if the node's "speed" is higher than that of the process's initial source.
A user could strategically set the speed of the "home-node" very low during job runs, but still prefer working on that specific node. In so doing, all CPU-based processes can migrate to other nodes, making it easier for the "home-node" to handle the load efficiently. MOSIXVIEW's user interface provides a smooth and convenient experience in managing an openMosix-Cluster.
