Movie Sync can synchronize the audio and video tracks in QuickTime movies.
The software has been designed to be incredibly user-friendly. To use it, open a movie, play it, and determine where synchronization is worst. Once you see and hear an unsynchronized spot, hit return, and the portion of the movie just played will loop repeatedly until you adjust the audio to match the video using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Hit return again to accept the sync point, and repeat until you're satisfied. Finally, save a new synced QuickTime movie by choosing "Save As…" from the file menu. It's essential to keep the original file.
If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can also utilize it for an even more comfortable sync experience! However, please note that this is beta quality software that isn't extremely tested and contains known and unknown bugs. Therefore, if you choose to utilize it, we implore that you send full bug reports to our email address.
Additionally, please be aware of the software's limitations, such as the 30-day trial period with a ten-day extension. If you wish to use the sync feature after this time, you'll need to register the software. Lastly, the recent release is now a Universal Binary (Intel version considered beta), and we've corrected a crash when canceling a save. QuickTime 7 or higher is a prerequisite.
