The software allows users to effortlessly upload their Quicktime videos to iTunes.
One of the handiest features of Movie2iTunes is its ability to analyze the file names of your video files. If it detects that you're adding a TV show, it will automatically set the right video kind, season, and episode to help you keep your library neat and organized.
Using Movie2iTunes is extremely easy, too. Just drag and drop one or more movie files, or folders containing movie files, onto the droplet icon. A file reference in the QuickTime media link format is created for each file, taking up just a few KB per movie. These reference files are then added to your iTunes library. And don't worry – your original movie files will remain untouched and exactly where you saved them.
To use Movie2iTunes, you'll need to select a folder for your QuickTime media links when you first launch the droplet. You can choose any folder on your hard disk for this. If you ever want to change the folder location later on, simply double-click the droplet file from the Finder and make the update.
All in all, Movie2iTunes is a lightweight and useful software tool that makes managing your iTunes movie collection a breeze. And best of all, it's completely free!
