Multicom.Net provides remote access to serial ports through TCP/IP. It optimizes network data flow between computer and data terminal and allows splitting serial output among multiple clients.
Multicom.Net is designed specifically to solve these issues. By using this product, the user can remotely access a serial port via TCP/IP. It has three parts:
1. Multicom.Net program; which emulates serial ports (up to 255) for the operating system W2K/XP.
2. Multicom.Net client; a service for exchanging data between Multicom.Net and TCP/IP.
3. Multicom.Net server; a service that exchanges data between the real driver of the serial port and TCP/IP.
Multicom.client and server handle outgoing and incoming data flows. The client receives bytes from all virtual ports and sends them to the server on another computer. The client also receives data from the server and passes them on to Multicom.Net.
With Multicom.net, you can optimize network data flow between computers and data terminals, split serial output between different clients, and have additional control through the serial stream. Whether you're a developer or a user, Multicom.Net is an excellent tool for remotely accessing serial port data.
