MIC software prompts for operator selection, encouraging deliberate calculation. Mobile apps use a menu for single-operator selection. MIC allows various degrees of accuracy.
Thanks to its audio feedback feature, MIC distinguishes between numeric, operator and function key presses, giving you complete control over your calculations. The software also displays the entire sum throughout each calculation, making it easy for you to keep track of your progress.
One of the most notable features of MIC is its use of modern division symbol (/) instead of the traditional ÷ symbol, which is commonly used in spreadsheets and mobile devices. MIC also encourages premeditation during calculations by asking which operators to display in advance, akin to mobile phones that have a single operator key or a menu from which the operator is selected.
MIC offers varying levels of precision to cater to different users' needs. For instance, it has a remainder feature commonly used by basic skills students, two decimal places for use with monetary situations, and six decimal places for metric work, enough to shift through two major metric units such as mm to m to km. Plus, the cancel button doesn't obliterate the entire sum, rather it backs up by one stage with each press.
All in all, MIC is a fantastic tool for anyone that needs a calculator that is versatile, easy to use, and offers a range of features to suit their specific requirements. Highly recommended!
