Musicbed DV is a Mac OS X application that revolutionizes the stock music workflow, giving users unique tools to create custom soundtracks. It simplifies the process of integrating music into video production, making it easier to find content and design perfect soundtracks.
Some key features of Musicbed DV include music browsing, where you can browse music clip variations for installed Synk Music Library™ titles, by visual story genres, moods, styles, texture, tempo, and pitch. There are real-time music previews while playing video. Music timeline features non-linear editing of music clip start, stop, and duration, automatic generation of music clips for specified start, stop, and duration, non-repetitive music generation without loops, clip start, stop, and duration drag operations in the timeline, seamless and gap-less transitions for music edits, and clip section/theme editing and arrangement. There is also an optional snapping for timeline operations.
The music characteristics allow you to adjust music clip characteristics, including background/foreground, melodic/percussive, sparse/dense, light/intense, clean/lush, smooth, sharp, and abstract/real music characteristics. You can also adjust tempo and pitch, and all characteristics interact. Music keyframes allow you to automate music clip characteristics over time with keyframes, and there is precise positioning of keyframe time, keyframe time drag operations in the timeline, optional snapping for timeline operations, and keyframe automation curve overlays.
In terms of video, any file type is supported by QuickTime, and you can create projects via QuickTime file drag and drop.
