NagAmp links a Cleware 'ampel'-device (a traffic light) to Nagios, enabling real-time monitoring of server performance.
To use NagAmp, the user can utilize various command line options such as specifying the path to status.log with the -f parameter or providing the host and port for retrieving status.log with the -F parameter. Other options include specifying whether the status.log is in Nagios 1.0 or 2.0 format and choosing to show only state type 'HARD' with the -h parameter or also showing state type 'SOFT' with -H.
The user can also set the check interval in seconds with the -i parameter, specify the path to the 'clewarecontrol' binary with the -c parameter and provide the serial number of the cleware ampel device with the -C parameter.
To use NagAmp, the user must have ClewareControl installed. This latest release of NagAmp includes support for Nagios 3.0 and stability fixes that improve its performance.
