Access to display monitor adjustment controls via an easy to use, intuitive software interface
Version: 1.0.20NaViSet Interactive Display Settings Control uses a two way communications link with the display monitor via the video graphics adapter and normal video cable. No extra cables are necessary. Special support is required in the video graphics display driver in order to provide this functionality.
Operating System: Mac OS X
This communications link is called DDC/CI (Display Data Channel - Command Interface) and is an industry standard developed by the VESA organization (Video Electronics Standards Association).
The following monitors have multiple video inputs. NaViSet will only be able to communicate with the monitor if the computer is connected to the correct video input on the monitor. Be sure to confirm that the correct video input is being used:
· NEC FP1375X - DVI Input
· NEC FP955 - DVI-A Input
· NEC LCD1550X - DVI Input
· NEC LCD1850E - Input 1
NOTE: This Universal Binary version of NaViSet will support PowerPC and Intel based Macs. However at this time (as of OS 10.4.7), Intel based Macs using Intel graphics processors (e.g. Intel Mac mini, 13" MacBook and 17" iMac with Intel GMA 950 graphics processor) are not supported due to incompatibilities with the video drivers. This may be fixed with a future update from Apple.
