NetMage is a multi-player game built on Java, which enables two players to play Magic remotely via a network.
NetMage provides all the necessary tools to facilitate gameplay. The prerequisites for running NetMage are Java2. In this release, the turn tracker has been improved to deliver a smoother experience. Also, major bug fixes have been implemented such as support for OMD decks, command-line arg processing, and Deck Chooser functioning on startup.
Other notable features included in this release are the support for saving to netmage deck format and preliminary support for Java Web Start. NetMage now incorporates all of OMD source code (CC.coruscant....) for dynamic, evolving, web-based card databases.
Finally, all of the OMD executables are now located in bin/, but their functionality has not been tested at this time. The OMD code is now equipped to support loading decks from the web, and sets as well. Overall, NetMage is a perfect fit for MTG players seeking to play the game online with other players.
