Nickel is a tool that generates bindings for Objective Caml and Java to provide a bridge between the two programming languages.
Until now, OJacare was the go-to code generator for bridging Java and Objective Caml objects. This software utilizes a C interface to create a connection between the two languages, and is based on the camljava library.
With the help of Cadmium, a programmer can execute an Objective Caml program on a Java Virtual Machine, either alone or with Cafesterol. One of Cadmium's stand-out features is its ability to easily access Java classes from an Objective Caml program, thanks to the Cadmium runtime library that enables the use of Java reflection methods.
However, when working with multiple Java elements, Nickel comes in handy. Nickel is a bridge generator that can produce Java, C, and OCaml files. It simplifies the process of accessing numerous Java elements, and makes it far more convenient for programmers to get their job done.
