The Okiworld project is a console-based strategy game that is played between two hosts. Players must use their strategic skills to outmaneuver their opponents and claim victory.
Once you have the IP address of the server, you can easily connect to their host and begin playing the game. The default port for connections is 3200. To make a move in the game, you need to use your turn, and every action has its own cost.
Sending and reading messages to your opponent doesn't take a turn to complete. As you and your opponent play the game, moves are made one by one, and turns are taken after each move. The game only requires Perl to function appropriately.
In the latest release, the delay between thievery operations has increased slightly. Additionally, when you finish the game, the window will not close until you read the results and press enter, which helps in case you haven't started the game from the command line. Overall, Okiworld is an exciting and engaging strategy game that makes for a great software addition to your gaming collection.
