Orrery Widget simulates Sun and Moon's position in the Zodiac.
I was particularly impressed by the widget's attention to detail. By clicking on various parts of the display, I was able to access detailed information on the rise/set/transit times of each object being modeled. It was a great way to learn more about the subject matter and truly get lost in the majesty of our solar system.
However, users should be sure to set their location preferences correctly before using the widget, as it relies heavily on geolocation to work. Fortunately, the preference panel is straightforward and easy to navigate, making set-up a breeze.
Lastly, the most recent release of the orrery widget adds some impressive improvements, such as the ability to update more quickly when activating Dashboard. Plus, with universal compatibility and a recommendation for G4 or G5 operating systems, users can rest assured that their experience will be top-notch. Overall, I highly recommend the orrery widget to anyone looking to explore the complexities of our universe in a creative and engaging way.
