OrthoGraph Survey is a mobile software for building surveys that enables users to digitally sketch floor plans and create AutoCAD compatible drawings on-site. It works with Leica Disto D3a/D8 and is designed for professionals.
The software offers the ability to sketch and measure floor plans using a PDA or Windows Mobile Phone. Measured drawings are shown in real-time, and AutoCAD/ArchiCAD/Google SketchUp-compatible drawings can be created on-site. The software also organizes measured rooms or graphical parts into a structural view for users to obtain a clear overview of what they are measuring. Floating islands or ghost layers help users connect rooms and display only relevant information for the task at hand.
OrthoGraph Survey features support for the Leica Disto D3a BT and D8, which can control automatic measurement tasks via Bluetooth. The default output formats are 2D and 3D DWG, SKP, and PDF, but other formats are also supported. The software is fully customizable through a desktop-based ProjectManager component.
The software's features include a PDA application, hierarchic structure handling of spaces, storing up to 160,000 objects, preparing ground-plan sketches on-site, automated and fast graphic assessments, "Floating Islands" function to connect places, "Ghost Layers" to display drawn areas in the background, team-work for large projects, and PDF reports.
Overall, OrthoGraph Survey provides fast and easy support for creating floor plans and calculating areas on-site. Its customizable features and compatibility with various devices make it a useful tool for a variety of professionals.
