GTK theme resembling OSX Tiger's Aqua theme, featuring similar window borders, buttons, and menus to mimic the Apple operating system's appearance.
For those unfamiliar with GNOME, it is an international effort to create a complete desktop environment using free software. This includes software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and managing application launching, file handling, window and task management. GNOME can be used with Unix-like operating systems, particularly Linux, and forms part of the Java Desktop System in Solaris. Initially, GNOME was an acronym for GNU Network Object Model Environment, although it is now considered deprecated.
One of the primary tenets of the GNOME project is to make things "just work" by prioritizing simplicity and usability. Users can rely on the Osx-Tiger theme to be a simple extension of their desktop environment, imitating the sleek look of the Aqua theme.
