Overtime Meter is a desktop program that tracks work hours by counting minutes and is installed on system tray.
To use this program, you need Python 2.4 and wxPython 2.6 installed on your system. Once you meet these requirements, the software is incredibly easy to use. Overtime Meter will appear as a yellow ball when you're not at work. When you start working, the ball will turn green and will turn to red when you're doing overtime of more than 8 hours.
It's important to note that Overtime Meter will start yellow for the first few seconds so that you have a chance to turn it off in case you've turned your computer out of work and don't have HostAtWork defined. If you click on the Overtime Meter icon or select History from the menu, a grid showing the history of your work time will appear.
One of the notable updates in the latest release is that history can now be exported to a CSV file, providing better convenience to the user. Overall, the Overtime Meter project is an essential tool for employees and workers looking to accurately track their work hours and overtime seamlessly.
