PageStream is a comprehensive desktop publishing software that offers complete functionality for the user.
Deron Kazmaier developed PageStream as one of the first desktop publishing programs back in 1986 for Atari ST computers. Over the years, it has undergone several updates and improvements to cater to the ever-changing needs of users. Personal Publishing magazine lauded the program, calling it a "knockout program", and it is still considered better today.
PageStream has been the go-to program for a lot of users, including tens of thousands of people, from rubber stamp creators to airline designers. It boasts a comprehensive list of features that sets it apart from other desktop publishing programs. In fact, a quick glance at the Quark Xpress 5.0's top 20 wish list shows that most of the items are already implemented in PageStream4.1, and PageStream4.1 already has eight of the top 10.
To meet the requirements of PageStream5.0, you need an x86 Linux installation with Gnome+2.0/GTK+2.0 packages or newer, or an installation that can run a current version of Gimp. Also, you'll need a minimum of 30MB of hard drive space.
In this new release of PageStream, there are bug fixes that ensure a seamless user experience. Enjoy PageStream and take your publishing game to the next level!
