Palm On Web is a user-friendly Perl CGI script that allows access to palm backups via web browsing.
Working directly with the pdb files from your palm pilot, Palm On Web runs as a CGI script, complete with a user-friendly web interface. Configuring the script is as easy as editing the pow.pl file, and future versions will include the ability to access memos and to-do lists.
To take advantage of this handy tool, you will need to have perl, the Template Toolkit, and CGI::Dispatch installed on your system. If you don't already have Template Toolkit, it can be installed via CPAN using the following command:
# perl -MCPAN -e 'install "Template"'
To get CGI::Dispatch up and running, simply follow the installation instructions provided at the link below. With Palm On Web as your go-to solution for accessing your Palm backups, staying organized and on top of your schedule has never been simpler.
