PaperCut is a command-line game that follows the rules of rock, paper, scissors made for Unix-based OS such as BSD and Linux.
The game is simple to play - just enter your choice of rock (R or r), paper (P or p), or scissors (S or s). papercut also keeps track of your wins, losses, and draws, so you can see how well you're doing.
To start the game, simply execute papercut or papercut [number of rounds]. If you don't specify the number of rounds, the game defaults to 3. Then, make your choice and see if you can beat the machine's weapon - if both weapons are the same, the game is a draw, otherwise you'll lose. At the end of the game, your stats for that session and your overall stats will be displayed.
You can also use some command line parameters to customize your experience. Use papercut [number of rounds] to specify the number of rounds you want to play. Use --stat to print your user statistics, --help to get help, and --version to see the version number of the software.
This latest release of papercut doesn't feature any major changes, but it's a reliable and enjoyable game that's sure to provide hours of entertainment.
