Unlike PCLTool SDK Option V, it does not allow for custom script programming to split or edit the PCL while transforming it into PDF, PDF / A or XPS formats. Option III can extract text from virtually any PCL file, even ones with 'scrambled' text or rasterized text (with 1-2 hrs. of OCR processing).
If you later find the need to customize the transformation process, like adding logos, barcodes or OMR marks - you can always upgrade to Option V or Option I - if you find the need to write your own custom .EXE.
