PhoneTray Dialup software alerts users of incoming calls while they are online. Users can choose to answer or ignore calls and the software logs all incoming calls while blocking unwanted ones.
Using PhoneTray Dialup, you now have the ability to put internet on hold and answer incoming calls without disconnecting from the internet. Think of it as Internet Call Waiting, but without any monthly fees, ads, or spyware. Additionally, this software allows you to screen phone calls while you're online, making it even more convenient.
The program makes use of your V.92 modem and Call Waiting service from your phone company to detect incoming calls. If you have Caller ID on Call Waiting, also known as Call Waiting ID or Visual Call Waiting, PhoneTray Dialup will display the caller's name and number, giving you the option to decide whether to answer the call or not. If your internet provider supports Modem-on-Hold, you can easily put your internet on hold and continue browsing after the call is finished.
Aside from its main feature, PhoneTray Dialup also comes equipped with full-featured Caller ID software. This software can show and speak the caller's name and number, log all your incoming calls, block unwanted calls, and zap telemarketers.
To use PhoneTray Dialup, you need to have Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows 98, a V.92 modem, and Call Waiting service from your phone company. With this software, you never have to miss any important calls again!
