phpRunMan is a tool for managing runners, composed of PHP scripts.
What sets PHP Running Management apart is its feature to input comments for the whole run or every intermediate segment so the data can be used as a logbook. Additionally, it functions by entering every run, be it training or competition, as a list of segments and times. Users can specify the number of laps and the "offset" to correct the distance manually.
PHP Running Management offers three different views for its users: the year view, detail view, and month view. The year view displays all the runs with their respective distance, time, average speed, and more. Meanwhile, the detail view shows the profile of a run by segment, including time, speed, cumulated distance, and other relevant indicators. Finally, the month view aggregates runs per month over the selected year, displaying every month’s distance, time, and average speed.
To use PHP Running Management, you must have MySQL 4.0.12, PHP 4.0.0, PHP Polar Tools 0.3, and the Coolest DHTML Calendar 1.0 installed. All the scripts are written in PHP, requiring GD lib activated too, and the data is stored in MySQL database.
The latest update of PHP Running Management offers more advanced features than its previous versions. The new update includes the ability to repeat more than one previous segment in the run entry page, which is useful for interval training. The calculator page has been redesigned, and there's a new type of year graph for run time and duration, as well as protection from HTML code injection.
In conclusion, PHP Running Management is a user-friendly and efficient tool that offers runners an all-in-one system, making it easier for them to track their progress and improve their performance.
