This software feature enables the user to play a song and copy it to the clipboard for further use.
How it works is the script first checks if one of the supported players (Rhythmbox, mocp, Exaile, Banshee, Audacious) is currently playing. It then copies the name of the artist and the title of the song, combines them into one string, and sends the end result to the clipboard.
Installation of playCopy is quite easy. Once you've downloaded and extracted the archive, all you need to do is make the script executable by using the command "chmod +x playCopy" and then copy the playCopy script to /usr/bin as root with "cp playCopy /usr/bin". Overall, playCopy is a great and hassle-free tool for music enthusiasts.
