Plonx is a basic Linux console puzzle game.
The bombs you need to avoid are the red asterisks, and you also need to steer clear of the upper and lower edges of the map as well as any blue trail that you leave behind as you move. However, the left and right edges of the map wrap around, allowing you to move seamlessly from one side to the other.
The game is easy to control using the number-keys to move, and you can press '?' to get help mid-game. Additionally, you can quit the game by pressing 'q.' After playing with the game a while, I learned that the number of spaces I could move forward was based on the green number I collected during that move.
This game also allows players to set certain game parameters, such as the map width, height, and level of difficulty. These settings are adjustable using command-line parameters, so tech-savvy individuals can customize their gameplay experience even further.
Overall, Plonx presents a fun and challenging puzzle game for Linux console users. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new gaming experience.
