Portable Check Off is a to-do list manager designed for use on portable drives. This software allows you to keep track of tasks and manage your to-do list on-the-go.
Setting up and using Portable Check Off is simple. All you need to do is drag the Portable Check Off folder to your portable device and click on it to open Check Off. It may take a while for Check Off to start, but if a local copy is already running, an alert window will allow you to quit it.
If you already have a to-do list on your system that you wish to use, simply click "Yes" when prompted by the "Copy preferences" window. The Check Off application and preference file are included in the bundle of Portable Check Off.app/Contents/Resources/app/.
One of the key features of Portable Check Off is its standalone nature, as well as being completely portable, wrapped in an application package using Platypus. Additionally, it has the ability to automatically copy preferences if desired, and asks to quit Check Off copy already running.
In the latest release of Portable Check Off, users can expect to find Check Off updated to version 3.6, new icons, and a cleaner script. For any further questions, tips, suggestions, clues, help or bug reports, users can post to the OS X Portable Application support forum.
