Automatically import Photoshop layers to PowerPoint objects with size and position preserved. Save time converting between formats and increase your use of Photoshop with this feature.
It communicates with both PowerPoint and Photoshop, working seamlessly to get your content from Photoshop to PowerPoint. It's compatible with both Photoshop 7 and CS, sending commands through the free Scripting Plugin for Photoshop. The plugin comes included with Photoshop CS, but be sure to download and install it from Adobe's website for version 7 (we provide a link on our own site).
With each layer selected, pptXTREME performs a series of tasks. First, it finds and saves positioning information; then it crops the layer, ignoring all completely transparent pixels. Next, it exports the layer to a PNG file (JPG if it's a background) before importing it into PowerPoint. Finally, using RiteSize Photoshop Import, it changes the size and position of the image to match that of your PSD document.
With pptXTREME, you get more than just basic import functionality. Its FolderMemory feature saves additional information to make subsequent uses easier. Each time you use the tool, it saves the folder you last used for PSD files and Image Importing, so you don't have to navigate through your folders again.
pptXTREME even has a LinkBedded feature that remembers where any imported images originated from, allowing you to update them automatically without losing their size, position, and animations. You can find a complete list of features on our website, along with more information on pptXTREME Import / Export.
