Pr3287 is a software emulator of the IBM 3287 printer that can be accessed through a telnet connection.
X3270 emulator provides two color options, either IBM 3279 or monochrome 3278, the emulation works over a TELNET connection. It comes with a variety of features, such as APL2 characters, Non-English character sets, IND$FILE file transfer, and NVT mode (emulating a color xterm). It also supports the full TN3270E protocol as well as SSL/TLS. A pop-up keypad is available for 3270-specific keys, and a scrollbar is included. You can also integrate the printer session with it.
X3270 is capable of handling even extensive debugging with the extensive scripting facilities it offers. However, graphics are not yet supported. X3270 is available as source code, and you can use it completely free. Additionally, it comes in several different forms such as c3270 (a curses-based version), wc3270 (a Windows console version of c3270), s3270 (a displayless version for writing screen-scraping scripts), tcl3270 (Tcl-integrated similar to s3270) and wpr3287 (a native Windows version of pr3287). There is even a software called x026, which is an IBM 026 Keypunch emulator.
