prophorBNCd simplifies IRC with its user-friendly multiuser BNC server.
One of the exciting additions is the AWAYNICK command, which enables users to set an awaynick by typing "/quote SET_AWAYNICK nickname". This feature is handy when you need to notify other users of your absence while you are away from the keyboard.
In case you no longer need the awaynick, you can reset it by typing "/quote NULL_AWAYNICK". This command is particularly helpful if you wish to resume your usual username.
Another remarkable feature is SETAWAY. It enables the BNC to remain in the away state when the client disconnects. To activate the feature, type "/quit NONE" command. However, if you prefer to stay invisible, you can choose not to set the BNC away by using the same command.
Finally, thanks to ja3's request, the /server SERVER PORT USERNAME:PASSWORD now works. It means that users can connect and authenticate to the server promptly.
In conclusion, prophorBNCd is an easy-to-use software, and the new features introduced in this release have made the experience even more seamless. The AWAYNICK and SETAWAY commands are particularly useful, and the improved /server SERVER PORT USERNAME:PASSWORD command has enhanced the authentication process.
