Python GUI library, under development, with an experimental interface.
In this version, two implementations are provided. The first is built on Gtk, which should work on X11 and Windows with suitable libraries. The second is built on Cocoa and designed for Mac OS X. However, the Gtk version requires that PyGtk be installed.
It is important to note that when using PyGUI, you must use pythonw instead of python to run scripts. If you bundle your code as an application using Py2App, this will not be an issue.
Overall, PyGUI is a promising framework for those looking to develop GUI applications in Python. Its commitment to being truly Pythonic and cross-platform compatible shows great potential for the future.
