QCall also enables users to capture phone numbers in two different ways: mouse-over phone number capturing and mouse-selection phone number capturing. Users can choose to either move the mouse cursor to the phone number or select the phone number with the mouse to make the calls. Moreover, QCall supports phone number capturing with hotkeys. When the capturing hotkey is triggered, QCall will pull out the phone number at the cursor position and make the call.
Furthermore, this software allows users to customize their phone number capturing hotkey. Besides traditional keyboard hotkeys, users can set left mouse buttons or right mouse buttons as their hotkeys. QCall also formalizes phone numbers by filtering out common symbols, such as parentheses and dashes, to ensure that the phone number can be recognized by the telephone system.
With QCall, users can recognize more than 60 different kinds of phone number formats, and they can even extend or customize more formats by using regular expressions in the configuration file (PhoneNum_Config.ini). Moreover, this software can save calling records automatically, allowing users to look up historical calling phone numbers, times, dates, etc. conveniently.
