Qtrainer is a fitness software that acts as a personal home trainer.
In the future, Qtrainer also plans to support long-term planning for training schedules. Currently, the software is still in development and not entirely stable. To address this, the developer is welcoming feedback and suggestions from users to improve the software.
Despite its current stability issues, Qtrainer is usable and even being used by the developer themselves. For those interested in trying out Qtrainer, it can be installed on Ubuntu using a package download, followed by a click and an ALT+F2 command to start the software. Alternatively, users can install it using the source code and running a binary that will be created in Qtrainer/bin.
To use Qtrainer, you'll need to have Qt 4.x installed on your computer. Finally, the latest release of Qtrainer includes five bug fixes as well as updates to the plots' colors and the software's "online" feature. Additionally, helpful actions have been added to the information widget, and there are links to the mandrivaRPM and gentoo ebuild available.
