Reduplicator is an EIMS filter software that allows users to easily archive emails by creating custom rules and criteria.
One of the standout features of Reduplicator is that it allows for complete customisation of the archiving location. You can organise archived emails by domain, username, and current date values, giving you great flexibility when it comes to accessing archived emails.
Reduplicator has been extensively tested and is known to be compatible with EIMS v3.2.0 and above. While it may also work with older versions of EIMS, no direct testing has been done at this time.
Some of the key features of Reduplicator include full archiving of all SMTP connections, with definable rules based on various criteria such as remote IP, senders and recipients with wildcard support, and SMTP AUTH. It also allows you to split recipients into discrete archive documents and remove multiple recipients easily.
With Reduplicator, you can define custom directories to archive emails, as well as substitutions in archive directories which include remote IP, senders, and recipients.
Another great feature of Reduplicator is its hierarchical archiving which allows you to organise archived emails based on remote IP, senders, recipients, and current date values. You can even create rules that act as exceptions to archiving and operate multiple rules on a single email. The best part is that Reduplicator runs in the background and does not interrupt the normal functioning of EIMS.
Reduplicator also has excellent compatibility with Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X, as well as EIMS and EIMS X. If you encounter any error conditions, Reduplicator will send an email notification to keep you informed.
In the latest release, Reduplicator has improved preference code, simplified error logging, and changed code to return the actual error code that occurred if a temp file could not be created. These updates enhance the user experience and make Reduplicator an even more powerful tool for archiving emails based on custom rules and criteria.
