RemoteScope simplifies network administration by providing a remote administration tool. No programming, no scripting, and no servers are required. With just the RemoteScope CD and a network of workstations, managing your network becomes quick and effortless.
RemoteScope's feature-rich desktop management tools give you complete control of your network. You can remotely turn on one or more PCs in your network with the Wake on LAN feature. USB Device Detection can be used to set an alarm feature alerting any user who plugs into a PC to download sensitive company data. You can configure your remote control settings to improve speed and performance over a WAN on limited bandwidth networks, such as broadband, DSL, or Cable. With RemoteScope, you have access to see which workstations are logged into the network.
Real-time statistic information can be displayed on the status bar on Views, and you can view the process CPU, usage, and delete the designated process. With remote troubleshooting capabilities, you can take control and troubleshoot PC problems from your workstation. RemoteScope also allows you to deploy virus updates and security patches to your entire network.
The software provides instant inventory of hardware and software licenses, which helps to plan upgrade cycles, prepare more precise budgets, or know exactly what's inside a system before opening a case. You can manage desktops the way you prefer with the Group Management feature, where clients can belong to multiple groups, giving you endless organizational options. RemoteScope also allows you to schedule backups, defrags, or other maintenance tasks for any number of systems. Finally, the Conference & Instant Messaging feature allows users to send messages when they encounter a problem or broadcast alerts to all or selected systems.
