renamer_ntfs is a free and open source Perl script for renaming files/folders. The renamer_ntfs script is designed for renaming files/folders that contain illegal NTFS characters (" / * ? < > | :).

renamer_ntfs also contains a check for ignoring hidden files ("." dot files).
