Retreeval is a software tool that enables efficient and effortless data management, organization, and analysis.
Data input is quick and consistent with ReTreeval, and users can either input answers from the keyboard or select from a menu. ReTreeval ensures that no two items have exactly the same characteristics, and if it happens, the software will ask for a new characteristic to differentiate between the two.
The key features of ReTreeval are: natural language to ask questions when inputting data, the tree diagram viewable on the screen, the ability to restructure the whole database just by pointing and dragging on the tree, printing, saving or copying the tree diagram to be used in other applications, ease in organizing, reorganizing and analyzing data, among others.
When teaching and testing the database, ReTreeval displays decisions made by coloring the tree appropriately, and data items can have pictures linked to them. Users can produce graphs easily and quickly from the data with bar charts, pie charts, line graphs, and scattergrams to choose from.
Users can export data as CSV, ASCII, or Tab separated text, and properties can be made dependent upon other properties. ReTreeval only asks a specific question if the answer to a previous question is Yes. Finally, users can print reports from the database in different formats, and example files include household objects, minibeasts, plants, rocks, fruits, and musical instruments.
The only limitation of ReTreeval is that while unregistered, the software has saving and printing disabled.
