Touchscreen-optimized frontend for iTunes designed to enhance user experience on mobile devices, featuring intuitive controls and seamless navigation.
rMediaTouch is a small application written in Java, and can be run on newer versions of Mac OS X. After launching it for the first time, it will copy your music artwork from iTunes, which may take some time. Once your music library is synced with the frontend, you can start browsing your iTunes library and initiate playback with a single click.
When you select a song, rMediaTouch will play it in iTunes and show its corresponding artwork on the screen. However, it's essential to note that rMediaTouch is only intended for Mac owners who own a touchscreen device.
The only requirement needed to use rMediaTouch is Java 1.5 or later. Overall, this frontend offers a minimalist and straightforward approach to controlling the music-player and -library of iTunes via your mouse pointer or touchscreen.
