Linux-based software enables easy control of robots.
As per the developer comments, the project is a result of the passion for creating intelligent machines rooted in their experiences with a Microbot. With its PIC based board controlling different motors and sensors, the Microbot was an exciting "toy" for building complex programs. However, the aim now is to construct a more advanced robot that can do more complex tasks with more simple programs.
The ultimate goal of the RoboLin project is to build a simple robot while focusing on the software aspects of the project. This innovation promotes the use of a Linux-based operating system, making it possible to build intricate programs with minimum hassle. With the developers' expertise in creating machines that can perform a plethora of tasks, the RoboLin project represents a significant leap forward in the world of modern robotics.
