Rubicon Tracker is a web-based system for tracking issues and problems.
One of the key features of Rubicon Tracker is its efficient Issue Tracking System, which enables tracking and management of Defects and Issues on a project or multiple projects. Rubicon Tracker is designed to share information among team members, clients, and management, offering an end-to-end Issue Management solution. This makes it an ideal tool for collaborative project management.
Rubicon Tracker is a web-based software that can be accessed from anywhere, allowing your team, clients, and management to collaborate from any location. It requires no separate web server to run, setup or maintain. The software is geared specifically for this application, ensuring speedy responses even under heavy loads.
The software also has an efficient Email Notification System that keeps all team members up-to-date with instant notification by email when an issue (or ticket) is added, modified or resolved. Emails are sent to all project managers registered with the project. Once the project manager assigns a ticket to a team member, the person is notified by email. All modifications to the ticket generate notifications for all individuals involved.
Rubicon Tracker also has an intuitive Move Ticket feature that enables a Project Manager to move a ticket from one project to another, which is particularly helpful if a ticket is inadvertently added to the wrong project.
Majentis offers two solutions for Issue Tracking; you can install and maintain Rubicon Tracker on your own servers, or you can use their online system to outsource your Issue Tracking needs. The only requirement for the software is a Linux 2.2.x or higher (Redhat, Mandrake, Debian, etc) server with PostgreSQL 7.2.x, and a client with Netscape 4 or higher or Internet Explorer 4 or higher.
One limitation of the software is that it supports only two projects with ten tickets per project. Overall, Rubicon Tracker is a powerful issue tracking software that can help you streamline your project management and collaboration.
