This software generates magic squares of different orders and allows users to manipulate them by rotating, reflecting, translating, and exchanging cells, rows or columns. Users can save the results in a .csv file format for later access.
But that's not all – the software also allows you to manipulate the squares in a variety of ways. You can rotate the entire matrix, create horizontal and vertical reflections, translate in eight different directions, and even exchange pairs of cells, columns, or rows.
And if you need to take a break from your magic square manipulations, you can save your square in a *.csv (comma delimited) file and reload it later. These files can also be imported into spreadsheets, databases, and word processors for easy sharing and collaboration.
But perhaps the most impressive feature of this software is its ability to save completed magic squares of n-order 15 or less in a Microsoft Access® database. The database verifies whether or not you have already created and saved that magic square, making it easy to keep track of your progress.
Best of all, you can try out the software for yourself with a 30-day fully functional trial version. If you speak Portuguese, be sure to check out saQuadradosMagicos for a version of the software in your language.
