Sauditor project offers a straightforward solution for auditing samples with its simple interface and efficient functionality.
The development process of Sauditor provided an opportunity for the creator to practice C and C++ programming while also learning to use jack better, as well as fftw, libsndfile, libsamplerate, and ncurses for the first time. Xlib is now included in that list.
Sauditor has a straightforward installation process - no fancy autoconf or automake - just use 'make' to build it, and 'make install' (as root) to install it. When using the software, simply run it, and then press 'Enter' or 'P' key to play the current sample. Users can use the spacebar to toggle between playing and pausing. If the screen goes blank, press 'R' to refresh it. To toggle the spectrum analyzer window, press 'F,' and for help and version information, press 'H' and 'V,' respectively. Users who have files starting with a dot can show them by running the software with the '-a' option. Overall, Sauditor is designed to be a simple and effective sample auditor with a user-friendly interface.
