A software that encrypts and decrypts files, featuring a compact Drag and Drop Window that can be used alongside other applications. Ideal for ensuring privacy of sensitive files, the program can be saved on a USB and used to open encrypted files on any PC.
One of the standout features of Scramit is its use of new encryption technology that has been approved for export by the Australian Department of Defence. Unlike other encryption software, Scramit does not require Public/Private key combinations, which allows for quicker and more efficient encryption.
Furthermore, Scramit allows for varying bit strength encryption using any bit string as a key. This means that you can use any file containing a photo, MP3, or other type of document as a key.
If you need to keep your private files secure, Scramit offers a portable version that can be installed on your USB. This allows you to open encrypted files on your computer at work or files that you receive via email on any PC.
Files can be encrypted using any name or extension, such as x47b.dll. Plus, if you use Scramit with your USB, your files cannot be opened unless the USB is plugged in and the correct key is entered.
Once you have decrypted your files, you can open them from within the Scramit Window. You can also set your files to be deleted once you close the window, which is an ideal feature for viewing encrypted files in Internet Cafes.
Scramit is currently available for beta testing free of charge. All you need to do is provide us with feedback on our product and encourage your friends to try it out as well. You can also view a demo of the software on our website.
