I recently had the opportunity to try out an album cover artwork screensaver for MacOS and I must say, I was impressed! The latest addition to the themes is the 'Lyrics Mosaic' which is a nice touch. If the artwork isn't available in your library, it can easily fetch it from the web, which is fantastic.
The ability to display rating / popularity and even allows rating to be changed is a great addition, as well as the adjustable 3D effect and progress bar. I also appreciate how it emulates a screensaver, preventing screen or system sleep, and entering full-screen mode after system inactivity.
The interface is easy on the eye, merely displaying the cover for the currently playing track with a few details and very soft fading actions. This makes it perfect for parties or just chilling without the added distraction of too much text or graphics.
