The SDL Sopwith project is a software port that brings the classic flying game Sopwith to modern platforms using the SDL library.
With SDL Sopwith, users can expect a modern native application that can run under a wide range of operating systems including Windows, GNU/Linux, BeOS, and others that are supported by LibSDL. This port also boasts working sound that emulates the PC speaker through the sound card output as well as working multiplayer capabilities.
Additionally, this port offers more configurable options than the original game, including the option to turn off options from Sopwith 2/ The author's edition. The code has also been vastly cleaned up and made portable.
