Service Center Operator is a next-gen management software that streamlines the full cycle of repairing and tuning, from equipment reception to shipping the repaired equipment back to the customer.
Service Center Operator features an intuitive interface that is specifically designed to support the specific terms and tasks of the service industry. Equipment is managed through a series of stages, starting with "Receiving," and then moving onto "Estimating" where defects and repair pricing are calculated. Once customer approval is received, "Dry-out" (if needed) occurs, followed by "Repairing" (both in-house or subcontracted). The equipment then goes to "Quality Check" and finally is "Shipped Back to the Customer."
Each piece of equipment is accounted for based on its Model, Model Group, Manufacturer, and Serial Number, and can have one or more Accessories (also available for repair). Repair pricing is automatically calculated by rates assigned to each Model, Accessory depending on the Defect found.
Service Center has an excellent "Reports" section that covers all kinds of requests, including financial, work-related, and summarizing reports. Reports can also be customized by clients according to their specific needs.
In addition, Service Center features strong security features, allowing for the assignment of proper Users to Groups accessing only certain features of the application. This allows for better security and control. Besides, Service Center is language-customizable, making it possible to translate it quickly to a user's native language.
Service Center has been built using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 (works under SQL 2000), COM+. It can be fully customized for customer needs, and more complex changes can be provided after determining specifications.
Currently, Service Center is successfully used by many Service Centers, providing a high-quality management tool.
