A script that lets you choose a Shutdown Mac hotkey
Version: 1.0The newer Macintosh models come with keyboards that do not sport a shutdown key. To shut down, you must go to the Finder's Special menu and choose "Shut Down".
Operating System: Mac OS X
If you have one of these keyboards and would like to restore the convenience of the shutdown key, Shutdown Script will help you by assign it to one of the existing function keys, say F15.
Since it's an application, it's slightly slower than a true shutdown key (but otherwise just as convenient). The script was intended to be used only for Power PC Macs running OS 9.
