SimEle Orange Cursors is a basic cursor theme featuring a simple orange design.
X provides the basic framework and protocol for building GUI environments. It allows the drawing and movement of windows on the screen and interaction with a mouse and/or keyboard. The visual styling of X-based environments can vary greatly since individual client programs handle the user interface.
Unlike previous display protocols, X was designed to work over network connections, not just attached display devices. X11 protocol version was released in September 1987, and the X.Org Foundation currently leads the X project. The reference implementation of X.org Server is available as free software under the MIT License and similar permissive licenses.
To install SimEle Orange Cursors, simply untar the archive and copy the contents into ~/.icons/ in a terminal. Then navigate to the folder ~/.icons/simele and run sh install.sh. The latest release features all of the important cursors such as the left pointer, help, and hand. The team is still working on the rest.
Overall, SimEle Orange Cursors is a great option for those who prefer a simplistic and elegant cursor theme on their desktop systems.
