This software allows you to easily generate slideshows by dragging and dropping a collection of images onto a network share.
To run SimpleSlide, you will need a dedicated MAC, preferably a Mac Mini, with one or more screens connected. By doing this, your MAC will have a network share that can be accessed through your local network. Once you've created a slideshow, you can simply drag and drop a set of images into the network share to get started.
After that, SimpleSlide takes over, resizing your images to fit the desired resolution (which can be configurable in the source code). It launches Apple Keynote to create a slideshow with the right settings, including resolution. Once the slideshow is created, it adds all the images separately into the presentation and sets the correct properties such as transition, time interval, etc.
SimpleSlide can run the presentation several times (configurable in the source code) before going back to the beginning where it checks for changes in the network share (any added or removed images) and starts the process anew.
Overall, SimpleSlide makes it easy to create a slideshow without any hassle. With its user-friendly interface, even those with little to no experience with slideshow creation tools will have an easy time operating it.
