sNibbles is a game that combines the mechanics of Snake and Nibbles, where players control a snake-like character to eat food and grow longer while avoiding obstacles and themselves.
Unfortunately, there is not yet an automatic way to install sNibbles permanently. However, it's still very easy to run the game from the project directory.
Before getting started, you will need to have the following requirements installed on your device: GNU Make, GCC, SDL, SDL-mixer, and SDL-image.
Once you have everything you need, simply follow these steps to compile and run sNibbles:
1) Double-check that you have all the necessary libraries and tools specified above.
2) Type 'make' in the project directory. If everything goes as planned, there should be an executable in the src/ directory.
3) You can now launch the game and an xterm for score by typing './snibbles'.
Overall, sNibbles is an enjoyable and well-coded game that does an excellent job of bringing the classic Snake/Nibbles game to modern devices. Whether you're a fan of classic games or just looking for a new time-killer, sNibbles is definitely worth checking out!
