SnipPad is a desktop knowledge management system similar to a web-based wiki. It helps users organize and store information for easy access and sharing.
SnipPad is only available in source form, and the source tarball includes all required jar files. The interface of the program has a tree on the left that contains a list of each "page" of the document and a browser on the right that displays the HTML version of the wiki content. A normal text editor fills up the rest of the interface. The browser is read-only, and editing is done in the text editor. When saved, the wiki rendering engine produces HTML output that is displayed in the browser.
The program requires Java to run. In this release, all known bugs are fixed, a Preferences dialog is added, and the UI is updated.
